Different COPs have differing characters, but both Morris and Granshaw named the feel for this one as ‘corporate’ and ‘exclusive.’ The UNFCCC needed to find a balance between the climate and pandemic emergencies, and the result meant testing, long lines, and many important observers absent from the COP.
